An occupational therapist is a medical professional who helps you become more capable of carrying out everyday duties. They provide occupational therapy, which teaches you how to navigate your surroundings or use various instruments to engage in activities in a safe manner. Your primary care physician (PCP) and other specialists will collaborate with your occupational therapist. They will be a member of the team that provides your care. An occupational therapist will most likely see you at a hospital or at their clinic. However, you can work with an occupational therapist anywhere you'll be doing everyday tasks, such as your home, place of employment, study or school site, grocery stores, places of worship, and other public spaces.
